Relationships built on trust and guitars you can depend on are the highest priority. In an effort to avoid any confusion; please take a look at the official DWP Guitars Policies outlined below.
DEPOSITS ON CUSTOM BUILDs:
A Deposit is required for all Custom Guitar builds to hold a place in line on the DWP Guitars build schedule. Deposits are non-refundable after 7 days as any necessary parts and materials for your instrument will be ordered or set aside with your name on it.
For Custom Guitar orders: my preferred payment schedule is a 50% deposit, with the remaining 50% due upon completion of the instrument. I am happy to discuss other payment plan options, however; if the deposit is less than 50% there will be a regular payment schedule required throughout the rest of the build.
Custom Guitar orders generally ship within 6 months of deposit unless otherwise communicated by DWP Guitars well in advance.
Custom Amp orders ship within 2 weeks of payment unless otherwise communicated by DWP Guitars well in advance.
I am still a touring guitar tech so DWP Guitars reserves the right to adjust the timelines for custom builds accordingly. This sort of thing will be discussed in our initial conversations, and you’ll be the first to know if there’s any interruption in the timeline.
SHIPPING POLICY:
Items in the DWP Guitars Online Store will ship within 2 business days of your order. Custom builds will ship within 2 business days of the completion of the build.
Please bear in mind that I am still a touring guitar tech, and if an order is placed while on the road; it may take longer to ship. If this is the case; you’ll be notified immediately, and I will reach out and discuss options. If you decide you'd rather not wait, your payment will be refunded and the item (Guitar, Amp, etc.) will remain up for sale.
DWP Guitars are currently available to ship anywhere within the United States. If you’re interested in a DWP Guitar and live overseas; please get in touch via email and we can discuss options.
DWP Guitars reserves the right to use the cheapest method of shipping unless otherwise specified and agreed upon. If different shipping is necessary; the customer will be required to make up the difference in cost.
RETURN POLICY:
If you’re not happy with your item (Guitar, Amp, etc.) you will have up to 7 days from delivery to return and receive a refund, minus the deposit and shipping cost.
Item (Guitar, Amp, etc.) must be returned in the same condition as receipt, along with any included materials, and in the same packaging as it shipped with. After 7 days, the sale is final, and a refund will not be issued.

After 7 days from delivery; all sales are final. I take pride in the instruments I build, and I my goal is for you to also. I won’t let them leave the shop unless I feel they are ready for a lifetime of love and use, and I will work to solve any issues that may arise in the future.
