With a 6w 4in speaker, volume, tone, and gain controls these amps are super versatile, and sound surprisingly bigger than they are.  9v battery power means that you can take these anywhere, and the functioning lid allows for easy replacement when your battery runs out of Rock and Roll.  As a bonus feature; you can also use it as an “Open Back” or “Closed Back Rig” providing a myriad of different sound options.

Played on stages, recorded in studios, used in dressing rooms, hotel rooms, and tour busses, these amps serve the working musician in every aspect of their job.  Equally at home on the coffee table, bookshelf, or bed side table; these amps are also perfect for the hobbyist musician looking to make a unique statement.

In order to preserve the original artwork and character of each Cigar Box, the speaker and controls are located in the bottom of the box.  Combine that with various hardware and electronic options, and each amp is 100% unique in its design.  An official DWP Guitars maker label hand signed, serial numbered, and located inside; marks the uniqueness of each handcrafted amp.

Each box used has been selected from empty boxes previously used on the store shelves of various cigar stores and smoke shops.  While I strive to select boxes the best boxes available; some boxes may have cosmetic blemishes here and there from their previous life on the store shelves.

ELECTRONICS OPTIONS:

3 gain stage circuit

• 3 Channels of Gain Stages (the left most knob).
  • Chan 1 = Clean.
  • Chan 2 = Blues (Slight Overdrive).
  • Chan 3 = Rock (Maximum Overdrive).
• Master Volume (middle knob).
• Master Tone (right most knob).
• 1/4” Input Jack.
• 1/8” Headphone Jack.
• 9V Battery.
  • It’s recommended that the 9V battery should not be ALKALINE or HEAVY DUTY as this can affect the performance of the GAIN.
• OPTIONAL 12-15V External Power supply jack.
  • Recommended power supply is a 12 VDC 500mA Center Positive (this polarity is important!) fully regulated power supply.
  • Amps do not ship with an external power supply.
• 4” / 8ohm / 6W Speaker.

5 GAIN STAGE circuit

• 5 Channels of Gain Stages (the left most knob).
  • Chan 1 = Clean.
  • Chan 2 = Tube.
  • Chan 3 = Rock.
    
  • Chan 4 = Metal.
  • Chan 5 = A 440hz Tuning Note
    

• ON / Master Volume Control (middle knob).​
• Master Tone Control (right most knob).
• 1/4” Input Jack.
• 1/8” MP3 Input.
  • This input can be used simultaneously with the ¼” Instrument jack, which allows you to play over an MP3; making learning that solo a breeze.
• 1/8” Headphone Jack.
• 9V Battery.
