Every custom DWP Guitar begins with a conversation in which we’ll discuss everything that makes up the perfect instrument for you. This is your opportunity to dream up the perfect guitar; exactly what you want and 100% uniquely yours.

CUSTOM DWP GUITAR DESIGN PROCESS:

The design process begins with an initial brainstorming session to come up with ideas and goals for the instrument. During this process we’ll discuss ideas for the following features of your guitar;
- Neck and Fretboard Wood.
- Inlays.
- Body shape and wood(s).
- Figured Top (when applicable).
- Binding.
- Graphics.
- Color/Finish.
- Hardware and electronics.

After the initial brainstorming; I will come up with design renderings as a starting point. I'll create renderings using pictures of the actual pieces of wood to give us a good feel for what the instrument will actually look like. Additionally; I can give you examples of how any inlays, colors, and/or graphics would look.
From there; you'll have two more opportunities to to tweak and narrow down the design before its finalized, and then the building process can start.
Once we’ve nailed down the design, your instrument will officially enter the DWP Guitars que. I’ll stay in touch throughout the build keeping you up to date and passing along some pictures as we go. You’ll get to see your guitar come alive which is my favorite part of each and every build.
